We provide complete prenatal, birth and postpartum care to the mothers we serve and their families. We accept no more than four births per month so tha we can provide truly in-depth and personalized care.

Prenatal Care
Each prenatal appointment is an hour long, and much of our time together is spent addressing your questions and concerns. We also provide nutritional counseling, emotional support and guidance in nurtuting your self and your relationships. We share a wealth of information with yo so that you can make informed decisions about your care. We also help you plan and prepare for your upcoming birth.

Labor and Birth
We support each woman and her family in having the safest, most satisfying birth experience possible. During labor and birth, we provide continuous physical and emotional support. We offer gentle guidance to help you embrace the birth process as it unfolds. We monitor the physical health of mother and baby during labor while striving to minimize unnecessary interruptions or interventions. We are comfortable with VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Casarean) & waterbirth.

Sometimes transport to the hospital during labor is necessary for the safety of mom and baby. In such events, we work to create a smooth transfer of care. We stay with you providing advocacy and support until after your baby is born.

Postpartum Care
We offer two postpartum home visits during the first week after birth to address breastfeeding, physical concerns, newborn care, and emotional adjustment. We are also available as needed in person or by phone in the weeks and months following your birth to support you through this time of profound wonder and change.

Special Circumstances
For clients who have experienced a previous traumatic birth, cesarean, or the loss of a baby, we know how difficult it can be to face another pregnancy. We spend a lot of time listening, processing, and supporting you in your healing. We help you to regain your sense of trust in your body and your ability to give birth.
